It’s from our background in hospitality that we knew how to spot a unique, multi-functional venue that could transform an average event into something special. We’d been organising weddings and parties for years before we stumbled upon the Kata tent and knew at first sight that we simply had to share it.

We’re a family run company and everybody pitches in when we’re running an event, from nephews playing hide and seek in the tent flaps to aunts and uncles helping to carry in the furniture. It’s this sense of family and friends coming together that we like to bring to every event we help host.

In the years that we’ve been hiring out Kata tents there have been many highlights: rescuing a wedding from sinking into a bog, providing the venue for Edinburgh’s New Year celebrations, and housing a royal occasion for Prince Charles, by his request, at Falkland Palace.

We’ve experienced many challenges and memorable occasions over the years. And when packing up our Katas the next day we always feel the satisfaction of witnessing how doing something we enjoy spreads happiness for so many people.
